Short version
No account, no ads, no tracking cookies, no analytics. The game keeps its data in your browser. Only when you play a live round with friends does the game talk to our room server — see “Live rooms”.
What the game keeps on your device
- Your profile: the name you choose, your best scores, your stage, your settings and your language.
- The Private Zones you opened or joined, and the results in them.
It is stored in your browser's local storage on this device only. Clearing the site's data in your browser deletes it.
Links you share
When you challenge a friend, invite friends to a Private Zone or send a result, the link you share contains your chosen name, your score and your round (which drones, and when and where you shot). A Private Zone link also contains the zone's name and code. Anyone who has the link can open it. Share links only with people you want to play with.
Names
Names pass an automatic filter before they are shown. Pick a name that does not identify you (no full real name, no phone number).
Live rooms (playing together in real time)
When you open a live room (PLAY WITH A FRIEND, or a friend's link), your device connects to the Drone Slayer room server, hosted on Google Cloud in the EU (Belgium). It receives what the room needs to work: your chosen name, a random player code made by your browser, the room's code, your throws (aim and time) and, if the host adds one, the link to the group's WhatsApp call. It sends them to the other players in the same room. The server keeps a room only in memory while it is used and forgets it within about 30 minutes after everyone has left; it keeps no accounts and no game history. Google Cloud keeps standard request logs (time, IP address, browser) in our project for up to 30 days; we look at them only to fix problems. See Google Cloud's privacy notice. A voice call happens in WhatsApp, not in the game.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, it processes technical request data (such as your IP address) to deliver the pages and protect the site, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not receive or keep these logs.
Children
Drone Slayer is a skill game with points only — nothing can be bought, staked, won or cashed out. It is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If the game starts sending any other data, this page will say exactly what, before it happens.
